Please consider becoming a

Precinct Committeeman.

A PC is a person who does just what so many of us have done.  PCs participate in activities to grow the Party such as campaign for candidates, contact elected officials, become more informed, spread reliable information, and volunteer to

help our party in other ways.

I'd welcome discussing this with you.

If there is a vacancy in your precinct,

we'll get you appointed.

WHO WE ARE

We’re a group of women who embrace the Republican philosophy of a strong and free America with equal rights, justice and opportunity for all.  Palo Verde Republican Women (PVRW) is affiliated with the Arizona Federation of Republican Women (AzFRW) and the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) – the largest women’s political organization in the world.

WHAT WE DO

Palo Verde Republican Women work together to:

·   Promote an informed electorate through political education

·   Increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through political participation.

·   Foster loyalty to the Republican Party, promote its ideals and work for the election of Republican Party nominees.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

One woman CAN make a difference in party politics is she is well trained and has a strong organization behind her.

BENEFITS OF PVRW MEMBERSHIP

When you join PVRW, you’ll be affiliated with one of the most dynamic of the 29 AzFRW clubs throughout the state. You’ll be provided leadership and management training, obtain practical political experience, become equipped to help with campaigns, impact policy and legislation and get to know Republicans holding or running for office. You’ll meet women who share your passion for a better Arizona and America.  Together we influence government, help charitable organizations and create scholarships for young teenage Republicans. Most of all, you’ll be among a fantastic group of women of all ages who offer you their experience, friendship and support.

OUR HISTORY

Palo Verde Republican Women was chartered in January, 1974 under the guidance of Mrs. Joan Wood who was elected our first President. Most of the charter members had been a part of Scottsdale Republican Women, one of the most active groups in the state. Because of many concerns of membership, the Scottsdale Club withdrew from the Federation. Joan Wood, and a group of followers who wished to remain in the Federation formed Palo Verde. From the very beginning, Palo Verde established itself as a very vigorous and active Club, and has remained so throughout the years. We educate our members through the programs presented at our monthly meetings, the monthly Newsletter, and by attending AzFRW Quarterly meetings. We are stlll a very involved and energetic group of Republican Women who strive to elect Republicans to office.

Armed Services/Homeland Security,

"Operation Dreamcatcher"

At the summer meeting of the AzFRW we were informed that in cooperation with the

NFRW we are initiating a statewide Armed Services/Homeland Security Committee. The purpose of this committee is to facilitate opportunities to share in the service of our armed services through meaningful projects. The first project for this committee has come to us from the Recovery Care Coordinator at Luke Air Force Base. We have received a request for assistance under the "Operation Dreamcatcher" Program. Since August of 2009, a most deserving caretaker has been care giving for the active duty service member with brain damage, his wife, who also has multiple medical issues and their two children, ages 6 and 8. M. Annette Slaydon, the Recovery Care Coordinator, has requested a "day at the spa" for this caregiver, which would enable her a few hours of time to spend by herself, receive some much needed pampering, and "recharge her batteries". PVRW has responded by giving this generous caregiver a gift certificate from the Red Door Spa at the Wigwam Golf Resort. by Jan Stephenson

As a footnote, please consider a donation to the Governor's Legal Fund at www.keepazsafe.com

These Constitutional attorneys bill out huge amounts, not to mention the consultants & researchers.
