Kingman Award Two Scholarships

Kingman Republican Women’s club awarded two high school graduate students with a $500.00 scholarship. One recipient is from the Kingman Academy of Learning, Ashlyn Silverthorn , whom will be attending college for nursing. Our Kingman High School recipient is Latisha Weaver, she will be attending MCC this fall and has a goal of receiving her PhD. in nursing. These two individuals had to write a 500 word essay on “How to encourage 18-25 year olds to become Politically Motivated”. I’m very proud of both recipients, especially my daughter Latisha; she’s the youngest member of our club. Congratulations, we wish you both the best in your endeavors.
