Used Book Sale:
Ways & Means committee members will be collecting used books from
members to sell at the AzFRW State Meetings.
If you have any books that
you would be able to donate, see anyone from the Committee and they will
arrange to collect them and get them to our June meeting. Jan Martinson
will take the lead on this project and bring display cases so that
everyone can quickly find their interest areas. We will accept any types
of books…hard cover, paperbacks, mysteries, thrillers, self-help,
cookbooks, etc. We do not want any books that are pornographic.
We will
also accept recently-dated magazines to sell. So, ladies, keep those
magazines for AzFRW!
Barbecue Basket:
At the June meeting of AzFRW, we will have a barbecue basket raffle.
Your Ways & Means Committee members will be donating items for this
basket. Anne Booth and Anita Rodriquez will be doing the ‘magic’ to put
the basket together. For the Winter AzFRW meeting, we will be doing a
wine and cheese basket.
Little Miss Patriot
Books:
Clubs will have the opportunity to purchase these books
from AzFRW and fulfill achievement award points. Each club can purchase
up to two books and take two points credit toward AzFRW achievement
awards for 2009. These books will also meet the criteria for the Mamie
Eisenhower Library Project. Of course, the books are to be donated to a
library. Books are $18 each and no postage is involved if picked up at
an AzFRW State Meeting.
Name Badges:
Our sale of name badges for $20 is going well. If you don’t have one and
would like to order one, contact Dot Greener, 3314 Trevino Dr., Sierra
Vista, AZ 85650-5261 (520-378-1045) with your name and AzFRW position or
your club name that you would like to have appear on the badge.
For all Ways & Means projects,
checks should be made payable to AzFRW.

Beuerlein, Evalyn Ekrom, Sharon Giese, Joanna Hagan, Sue Jamison, Marian
