Sanctioned by the National
Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), the Arizona
Federation of Republican Women’s (AzFRW) Armed
Services/Homeland Security Committee seeks to
provide comfort, support and encouragement, and to
extend appreciation for our Armed Services
members—active, reserve, veteran, wounded—and for
their families.
In addition, the committee
seeks to educate federation members about preventing
terrorism, preparing for an attack, and protecting
our families by being vigilant and observing the
three “Cs”: using CRITICAL judgment, spreading
CAUTION, and CALLING the authorities.
All NFRW state Armed
Services/Homeland Security Committee chairs are
appointed by state presidents and are members of
their state’s Board of Directors. State chairs
appoint committee members from around the state and
provide their names and contact information to the
NFRW Armed Services/Homeland Security Committee Vice
Chair.
Local club chairs are appointed
by each club president, who may also appoint a
committee. The local club chair’s role is the same
as that of the state chair, except that she recruits
“beacons” from within her club, and communicates for
her club.
